Biodegradable Meat Packaging

Source.

Plastics have pretty much taken over the meat section in our supermarkets and has caused the public to believe that anything less than wrapping the meat in thick, impenetrable plastic means that the meat is vulnerable to germs and will go off faster. This isn't the true. Plastic wasn't always around and people did a fine job of storing meat before the invention of plastic. I really like this design because through the use of two simple materials, meat is packaged and stored in a way that is easy to get into and the packaging has little to no impact on the waist stream, because it's made of paper and is therefore recyclable and/or biodegradable.
