Final Major Project

Taking the design sheets in the previous post forward, I hopped onto illustrator and started to build this simple, but effective typeface using the grid system.

This is my first time ever making a typeface, and while it's not a typable one, I'm really proud of how this has come out. The connection between the shape of th eboxes and the typeface is clear and it makes the type feel a lot more considered. I am well chuffed.

The punctuation marks aren't all that brilliant but they seem to do the job pretty well.
